Rather than giving that responsibility to already overwhelmed providers, Medtronic Diabetes can handle it with a nationwide network of certified pump trainers. All Medtronic Diabetes pump trainers are fully trained and certified assuring a high-standard of quality care.
Becoming a Medtronic Diabetes Pump Trainer
Registered healthcare professionals are eligible to become Medtronic Diabetes Pump Trainers. The following must be accomplished in order to become a Medtronic Diabetes Certified Pump Trainer:

Successful demonstration of the operation of the Medtronic Diabetes pump following hands-on experience. This demonstration will be done with a Medtronic Diabetes Certified Pump Trainer. |

Completion of the Pump Trainer Application. |

Complete the trainer test after studying the
Pump Trainer Manual and the Medtronic Diabetes Pump User’s
Guide. |

Submit the test to Medtronic Diabetes. |
