Exclusive capability of integrating with continuous glucose monitoring technology

When used with the available glucose sensor and transmitter components, the MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 insulin pump displays on-screen REAL-Time data to help you understand more about your glucose control.

  • Displays updated glucose values every 5 minutes

  • Displays 3-hour and 24-hour glucose trend graphs, as well as arrows that indicate how fast and in what direction glucose is moving

  • Designed to alert patients to potentially dangerous low blood sugar and high blood glucose episodes by sounding an alarm or vibrating

  • Requires a minimum of two calibrations each day (one every 12 hours). A confirmatory fingerstick using a standard blood glucose meter is required prior to making self-management or therapy decisions.
